New MTW Website Launched

www.mtw.orgOur mission sending agency, Mission To the World (MTW), has launched a new website. It is really worth taking a few minutes to browse. Very seldom do we use our own website to promote other websites, but this one is worth it.

The new site makes it easier for people to get involved in the Great Commission and to learn about missionaries and mission work. The new MTW site is very intuitive and well thought out.

There are several mission related activities that are made easier by this site. If you want to become a missions intern, send a short-term team from your church or financially support an existing missionary this site makes it simple.

It is such a rare thing when a Christian non-profit organization gets a website right. It is exciting when the Internet is used to make it easier for us to glorify God. If you want to get more involved in missions or support those who are already serving take a look.

Just Returned From Interview and Orientation

This morning Erin and I returned from Atlanta. We just spent the last week at Mission to the World (MTW) headquarters participating in Interview and Orientation (I&O). I&O is a training session for MTW missionaries. There were 20 great people there getting ready to head out on the mission field. It was very exciting to meet a batch of excited new missionaries. We received additional training on support raising and procedures while out of the country. We also opened up our bank account, became MTW employees, ordered our Prayer Cards, met our Coach, and much more.

Simply put…another great weekend of training and orientation put together by the staff of MTW. The exciting thing is that we are now officially cleared to raise funds for our support account. Look out…here we come.

Off to Interview and Orientation

Tonight Erin and I will board a flight for Atlanta.  We will be at the Mission to the World (MTW) headquarters until November 17th.  For a week we will be attending MTW’s Interview and Orientation (I&O).  While at I&O we will receive a lot of helpful information about organizing the logistics of our missions efforts.  Please pray for us while we are gone.  While there, we will have the opportunity to visit with several dear friends.
